1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and BRUXKEY PRIVATE LIMITED, Faridabad, Haryana, India (“BruxKey”, “we”, “us”) for DocScanly (the “App”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to these terms and the rules of the marketplace that supplied it. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. One-time purchase and refunds
DocScanly is offered as a one-time marketplace purchase, not a subscription. The marketplace shows the current local price, taxes, family-sharing eligibility, and other purchase details before payment. Payment processing, receipts, and refund requests are handled by that marketplace under its rules. BruxKey cannot guarantee a refund that the marketplace does not approve.
3. Licence and acceptable use
Subject to these terms and marketplace rules, BruxKey grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on permitted devices. You must not redistribute or resell the App, bypass security, introduce harmful code, interfere with services, reverse engineer it except where law permits, infringe intellectual property, or use it to create, store, or distribute unlawful or harmful material.
The App, its design, software, branding, and documentation belong to BruxKey or its licensors. The licence does not transfer that ownership to you.
4. Your documents and responsibilities
You retain rights in the images, PDFs, and other content you create or import. You are responsible for having permission to capture, reproduce, watermark, share, and print that content; for checking document accuracy and completeness; and for keeping backups appropriate to your needs.
DocScanly is a general document utility. It does not certify legal validity, archival quality, regulatory compliance, or acceptance by a recipient. Review important documents before relying on them.
5. iCloud, permissions, sharing, and printing
Optional iCloud sync depends on your Apple account, device settings, storage availability, and Apple's services and terms. Camera and photo access depend on permissions you control. When you share, export, or print a document, you instruct the App and the operating system to send it to the chosen person, app, printer, or service. BruxKey does not control what that destination does with the copy.
6. Updates and availability
We may provide fixes, compatibility updates, improvements, or feature changes. Some updates may be needed for continued use with current operating systems or third-party services. The App may occasionally be unavailable or affected by device, storage, network, iCloud, marketplace, or printer conditions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. BruxKey is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of content caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our aggregate liability relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
8. Termination
You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may terminate the licence for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, security risk, or legal requirement. On termination, stop using the App. Sections concerning ownership, document responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and governing provisions survive.
9. Governing provisions and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without overriding mandatory consumer rights where you live. Courts with jurisdiction in Faridabad, Haryana will hear disputes unless applicable law gives you another mandatory forum. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective.
We may update these terms for product, platform, legal, or operational changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an effective update indicates acceptance.
